As it is better to be safe than to worry please read carefully, your health is what matters.

Absolute contraindications

I do not massage if you are presenting any of the following conditions

Abnormally high body temperature
Flu symptoms such as runny nose, cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
Acute infectious (systemic) conditions
Acute inflammatory conditions (it is advisable to wait 48-72 hours before applying massage therapy to any acute inflammation)
Pregnancy – first trimester – you MUST obtain medical clearance to rule out high-risk pregnancy
Deep vein thrombosis
Odema caused by liver or kidney disease
Inflammation from infection or trauma, toxemia in pregnancy and heart failure
Patients with cancer that currently are undergoing chemotherapy or radiation treatment, are required to have an approval letter from their oncologist.
For kids and Teen’s massage, a parent or a legal guardian has to be present at all times during and after treatment
TENS & EMS Can’t be used for people that may be allergic to the adhesive pads, pregnant women, People with epilepsy: Applying electrodes to the head or neck of people with epilepsy as it may induce a seizure. People with heart problems, people with a pacemaker or another type of electrical or metal implant.
Cupping therapy is done for a maximum of 5 minutes in order to prevent damage to the skin surface.

NOTES

Following the rules of the Medibank Health fund, claims would only be approved for remedial and deep tissue massage where remedial techniques have been used.
To give you the best treatment, I do a maximum of 5 appointments a day.
No extra charge would be added if a small amount of extra time is needed to alleviate your pain. All that matters is your wellbeing.
For the first visit for Remedial massage please arrive 15 minutes before your appointment as a functional assessment and a client consultation form need to be completed.

Free Consultation and functional assessment

Duration 5-10 minutes

Functional assessment is performed to identify the source of your pain. Muscles, ligaments, tendons and posture will be reviewed. A treatment plan would be designed to ensure that you feel respected and comfortable as we work together to address your physical aches.

Late cancellation & no show fee apply of $50 for a 40-60 minute session, & $100 for 90-120 minutes session. If you already paid, it will be taken as a penalty, and the rest will be refunded. Make sure to cancel or reschedule 24 hours prior to your appointment.
